Please permit us at this time to familiarize you with our core philosophies and dearly held beliefs. They will help you to understand why our systems take the form that they do as well as the reason for the very existence of SP Technology Loudspeakers, Inc. While the following text is not devoted strictly to speaker design per se, please bare with us as we believe you will find it to be of value and interesting…maybe even thought provoking.

To begin, every successful company is born and survives because it fulfills a need in a way that no other entity fulfilled prior to its formation. The same holds true for us as well. From the beginning, our founder and president Robert A. (Bob) Smith and vice-president Michael D. (Mike) Patterson have insisted upon the fundamental requirement that any potential product (and ultimately, company) must fill a void in the existing marketplace before they would invest any of their personal resources or otherwise engage in such an undertaking. To quote; "All the world needs is another speaker…NOT!" They knew full well that the market is virtually saturated with manufacturers producing every sort of design at every price-point imaginable…almost.

Being a lifelong audiophile himself, Bob was perpetually in the pursuit of superior music reproduction. Having enjoyed speaker design as a hobby from his youth; it was only natural for him to focus the bulk of his research in that area. Those investigations ultimately led him to realize how modern designers had overlooked many of the core technologies that were once the foundation of accurate sound reproduction. He came to understand that in the zeal to embrace new technologies, certain foundational principles had been abandoned. In essence, "they threw the baby out with the bath-water." (A review of these technologies, including their advantages and disadvantages, is included in the THEORY SECTION.) To his thinking, it was as though their education in acoustics had not been built upon a fundamental understanding of Natural Law and the "least action principles" of the CREATED UNIVERSE.

Being guided by a deep belief and abiding understanding of Natural Law during his experimentation; Bob discovered certain "hybrid" solutions to several of the problems plaguing modern loudspeaker design. These hybrid concepts were a combination of two or more base technologies that took advantage of their individual strengths while minimizing the other's weaknesses. The remarkable success of these designs as gauged by verifiable, scientific testing as well as the response of unbiased listeners is irrefutable. Seldom has any product at any price offered such levels of performance and beauty.

Bob believed that the major shortcomings of similar, yet inferior products were a direct result of "Linear Thinking." He saw them as nothing more than a reflection of the mental processes of their creators. In fact, all art, science, goods and services developed by our species are a direct reflection or metaphorical representation of the collective mentalities of us all. This, obviously, is just as true of all human (and inhuman) behavior as well.

We at SP Technology Loudspeakers Inc. have come to understand that one does not arrive at truly superior design or even a purposeful and fulfilling life by "Deductive Reasoning" alone. Rather, they are the result of a type of "Geometric Thinking" that is inherently "Non-Linear." Such thinking arises from the "Divine Spark of the Creator" that lies within every human soul and is manifest as a form of "revelation" to the investigator. Unfortunately, this type of thinking has been all but lost to recent generations and supplanted with a form of mindless "Information Theory."

It is our core belief that true creativity is not so much the by-product of genius, but rather the result of "acknowledging and submitting to a higher state of awareness." True transcendence requires "thinking outside the box" and "embracing the Transfinite." We must not envision ourselves as being at the center of our own universe. Rather, in a spirit of innocence and humility, we should seriously consider and embrace the possibility that we are created beings. We believe that we are all souls of Divine origin, possessing a transfinite potential and nested as a sub-set within a Super-Universe of infinite dimensions that is ruled by Absolute Truth and Natural Law. This view leads one to a "self inclusive" (as opposed to a "self exclusive") approach to problem solving, relationships with others and life in general. True, unconditional love or "agape" for our fellow man and ourselves is the endpoint of this journey.

Conversely, the finite, "self exclusive" mind ultimately builds a cage that limits its own range and growth. When it has reached its personal limits, it finds itself paralyzed and blinded to further understanding. As it approaches these limits it discovers that an ever increasing majority of its efforts fall short. Tormented by fear, anger and despair; it finally settles for complacent mediocrity and the accompanying, self-justifying rationale. Ultimately, it spirals inward toward and is unable to escape the pull of its own amassed gravity. With increasing velocity, it collapses into a "singular blackness" as its final destiny. Often, many a naïve or unwary soul circling in a nearby orbit is drawn in as well…The blind do lead the blind and even Hell finds a metaphor in physical Creation; so beware…Entropy kills--but it need not RULE our minds and hearts!!!

We believe subversive and manipulative forces have permeated the worlds Academic and Religious institutions as well as the Media, for the express purpose of lulling the world to "sleep" by teaching us "what" to think rather than "how" to think. Their doctrine of self gratification and emotional logic draws the world into a private prison of myopic ignorance and slumber. Such "non-thinking" is the key to what we envision as the Ultimate Evil.

The evidence surrounds us. For almost a century, legions of young people have been graduating from academia around the world by simply regurgitating information and passing tests through useless, rote memorization. For all intents and purposes, Scientific Discovery is now virtually dependent on the power of computer models. What passes for "Art" has enraged entire ranks of taxpayers that have unwittingly funded it. At one extreme, Western Religion has become dead and impotent. At the other, it is dominated by "media zealots" preaching heresies of a "blind faith" that they do not follow and their hypocritical cries for financial support belie.

A form of Materialistic Hedonism, with its psychotic and unnatural forms of expression, has become the "viral" alternative religion and even those of True Faith find themselves fighting "infection." Free and Creative Thinking is all but dead and the average individual obediently takes his place in the "system." The indoctrinated masses mindlessly feed on the superficial and deceitful "dis-information" they call "NEWS" as well as so called "entertainment" the media moguls dictate; as they themselves are manipulated by the "Oligarchs of Design." It is as if the entire human race were "cattle being fattened for the slaughter." If there is hope, at least, to slow this "run-away train to Armageddon," then it must begin with a re-kindling of the "Divine Spark of Free and Original Thought" that lies within each of us.

To be succinct; our evolution finds itself at a cross-road. In the midst of the greatest technological and scientific expansion of knowledge the world has ever known, we find ourselves confronted with what has all the symptoms of a new "Dark Age." While we have made great strides in the sciences, our ethical and moral development is at a stand-still. Baboons and guns both have their place and should be respected but… "baboons with guns" cannot be tolerated. We must be wary of such foolish primates; many of them dressed in fine suits and masquerading as humans. They offer "peace plans" and "SECURITY" through technological solutions that are instead "instruments of ultimate control." The vanity of their ambition and the fear of their ignorance are their most dominant and lethal traits.

They are being bred by the true "Puppet Masters" that move about in the shadows and live in the highest places of wealth and influence, whose names are seldom heard. Such progeny of "brute beasts" are like some sort of global infection and without a "vaccine" the world shall succumb to their plague of arrogance! Have you not heard…"pride cometh before a fall?" Our "puppet" leaders are stumbling, drunk with the vanity of their self-serving imagination, unrestrained avarice and willful ignorance! While we "sleep," they and their "masters" plot the unthinkable!

Our great land is now faced with a new and unprecedented assault upon our most dearly held freedoms. The tragic events of September 11th, 2001have thrust upon us a threat that rivals the very terror of that day. We, as a nation, must now decide who and what represents the greatest threat to our way of life. It is true that we are left with no other choice but to seek out and eliminate the sponsors of terror that robbed us of our loved ones and our sense of security. By all just means we must support our president and congress in their efforts to protect this land and secure the peace against those who would seek to destroy it. Yet, out of weakness we must not act in fear, but rather, stand united in strength and courage.

From the beginning, we have been identified as a people of great love, faith, conviction and courage. We must now rekindle the spark of that heritage to face these new challenges. Our forefathers did not settle for security at the cost of freedom and injustice -- let us not forsake the price they paid by doing otherwise. "I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it." --Thomas Jefferson to Archibald Stuart, 1791.

For the torch of freedom to remain a light to this world, each generation of Americans must be willing to deliver the same freedoms to our children and pass that torch on to the next generation intact. In order to do this we are obligated to keep in remembrance the cost of freedom and be willing to make the same selfless sacrifices. All that have paid the price of freedom have known that peace and security do not have their origins in the outward show of force and control. To the contrary, they find their root in the hearts of men and women that refuse to yield to fear and tyranny. "Peace of Spirit" has no substitute in self made "walls" that unduly restrict true freedom. Security holds little value if it is experienced within the walls of a prison.

To be sure, we must use whatever force necessary against our oppressors. In a world where evil men will stop at nothing to achieve their goals, an individual or a nation must meet that threat with even greater force. Every resource available must be called upon to protect that which is of greatest value.

In our efforts though, we must guard against handing our enemy victory by enslaving ourselves. The technologies the western world now has at its disposal represent an even greater risk to us all than any terrorist or "weapon of mass destruction." Big Brother and his electronic monitoring of citizens, One World doctrines and cashless monetary systems all represent the potential for human control that Hitler could only dream of. All that is required to bring about this ultimate form of evil is a fearful, self absorbed, materialistic and fundamentally mindless society that has permitted itself to be programmed with false promises of peace, prosperity and security. Does this describe our condition?

It would be most unwise to think that the forces that led to the extermination of 6 million Jews could not be unleashed upon this world again in an even more deceitful form. History repeats itself. Was Hitler just a prototype? True republican democracy is a rather recent experiment upon the world stage. We must relentlessly stand guard to protect it as "the wolf is always at the door." We must remember: "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing," --Edmund Burke (1729-1797).

It is in addressing the need for a "vaccine" against such mindless, programmed thinking that we proclaim the goals of SP Technology Loudspeakers, Inc. Our hope is to not only offer products of the highest value, but to do so such that their value and our conduct reflect and promote the spirit of a "New Renaissance" throughout our great Republic and the world at large. As the original Renaissance of Medieval times was the remedy for the Dark Age that had enslaved mankind then; we hope the message reflected in our company and its products will help to revive that same spirit. A resultant global "rebirth" of mankind in this present age is VITAL if we are to keep at bay these "Oligarchs of Design" and their "puppet offspring" that threaten us all.

As each of us individually and intimately re-discovers and embraces the truths of "Natural Law" that govern the physical universe, we will begin to understand and find our proper place as individuals AND as a civilization within the Super-Universe for…"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth His handiwork." -Psalm 19:1.

As each individual experiences their own "re-birth" the world moves one step closer toward the birth of this "New Renaissance." As we evolve individually in this new awareness, our leaders and governments will follow and reflect the same. We realize that in a global "forest" our efforts are only the smallest of "sparks" but… such have been known to start raging forest-fires. If the Creator wills…so be it… "on Earth as it is in Heaven."
